bent precisely at its edge to create function.
By striking the metal with a hammer,
force is embedded into the surface,
and concentrated at the “edge”—the point where the clip holds banknotes in place.
Free from decoration,
its form is defined only by structure and trace.
TSUI-EN balances practicality as a tool
with a clear respect for material and handcraft.
As the silver ages,
the surface deepens in character,
and the edge records the passage of time through use.
